European School Milk Scheme
The expected consultation on the new European School Milk Scheme was not published in January but is expected shortly. However, the changes from current arrangements are expected to be minimal.

We have drafted an overview of how the devolved governments in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland could be involved in a post-Brexit school milk subsidy scheme. The Brexit White Paper that was recently published by the Government highlighted the increased power that the devolved parliament and assemblies will have over agriculture once the UK leaves the EU, so it seems quite possible that the Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast governments will have significant input into whatever form a new scheme takes.
